About the role
The market launcher is a critical role that helps Loftium expand to new cities. We’re looking for a driven, capable market launcher to bring
Loftium’s Lease program into new geographies. You’ll be responsible for traveling to new markets, acquiring our first properties by working directly with landlords in that market, hiring properties leads to grow the market, and training all new hires. You’ll work closely with all of Loftium’s teams, but ultimately hold full responsibility for getting new markets off the ground with a strong, well-trained team in place.
Responsibilities
- Acquire homes: Work with landlords in new markets to acquire property supply for Loftium, evaluating market conditions and market-specific changes necessary to our processes and algorithms.
- Hire: Identify and hire a Properties Lead and Properties Associate to continue the work of growing property supply in-market.
- Train: Train all new properties hires so that they are effective team members who can confidently continue to grow each market.
- Work closely with HQ Properties and Customer Ops teams to onboard properties, define and monitor local Airbnb registration processes and to facilitate a fantastic experience for landlords, renters and our remote in-market teams.

About you
- 3+ years experience in a growth / operations / BD role in high-growth, fast-paced, ideally startup environment
- You are a great one-on-one relationship builder and can comfortably convince landlords to rent homes to Loftium
- You are a great judge of talent and can recruit and hire fantastic in-market teams
- You are a teacher at heart and love building scalable processes and materials to onboard all of your new hires efficiently
- You have no problems with travel and are willing to travel frequently and stay for a week or more at a time to launch a new market
- You love hard challenges and working to build structure in unstructured environments
- You’re very comfortable w/high-volume, high frequency outreach (phone/text/email)
- You're hungry to learn, willing to dive into the deep end, and not afraid to experiment
- Bonus (but not necessary):
- Experience has an Airbnb host
- Real estate/rental experience
- Previous market launching experience
Compensation
- $75,000-$110,000 annual salary
- Stock options equivalent to .01% - .04% of the company
