    About the role
    Loftium is looking for a driven, hardworking Property Acquisition Associate to accelerate the growth on the supply-side of Loftium’s rental platform. We’re looking for an energetic, highly-motivated individual to help with strategic property selection and build relationships to bring homes onto our platform. The goal for this role is to source qualified properties to grow a robust pipeline of inventory and assist in closing deals. You’ll work alongside a Property Acquisition Lead to collaboratively make decisions on opportunities and support the team to add more homes for our renter's to choose from.

    This role is ideal for a capable, hungry professional looking to get hands-on experience at a high growth startup and learn how to manage a fast-paced, highly active pipeline of deals. You’ll be critical to driving Loftium’s growth and you’ll get exposure to all areas of the business.  

    Responsibilities
    Prospect: Prospect and pre-qualify new inventory to bring onto Loftium’s platform with the end goal of supplying premium single family homes to our renters. Make decisions on opportunities that impact company growth and drive metrics.

    Outreach: Connect with all prequalified opportunities to familiarize potential property owners with how Loftium works. Conduct follow up correspondence, schedule meetings and tour homes in person to evaluate property and develop relationship with owner. 

    Qualify: Using internal tools and financial models evaluate property economics to qualify opportunities. Upon qualification, hand off opportunity to Property Acquisition Lead for closing. 

    Collaborate: Alongside the Property Acquisition Lead, manage a sales process and guide opportunities through the pipeline to close deals and hit quotas. Consult with the internal demand-side (renter) to get feedback on property evaluation. 

    Communicate: Follow up and respond promptly to potential opportunities. Collect property information to facilitate negotiations, complete contracts a facilitate property onboarding. Share key insights and learnings with teams to help drive Loftium forward.

    REQUIREMENTS
    • 2+ years experience in a similar, high-touch, high-volume, fast-paced role
    • You’re extremely personable, friendly and enjoy meeting new people
    • You’re a hustler, you’ll do what it takes to get the job done and you're not afraid of an outside sales role.
    • You love hard challenges and working to build structure in unstructured environments
    • You’re very comfortable w/high-volume, high frequency outreach
    • You’re a fantastic communicator, both in person and in written correspondence 

    Bonus: 
    • Real estate or property management experience
    • Experience an Airbnb host
