Localist is a first of its kind Event CMS for Marketing and HR teams. Our team thinks big, dreams big and delivers big. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high energy company with a dynamic team culture, at just the right time.
Localist is looking for a high performing Account Executive that would feel at home on a top tier commercial team. Strong candidates are those that are the best at what they do and want to work with the best; they are top performers who can help us build the next great software company.
It will be your responsibility to promote Localist’s Event CMS to Marketing and HR teams—which means you have a solid understanding of how to speak to HR and Marketing decision-makers at large companies. In order to be successful, you must be confident, creative and curious.
Here’s what the job looks like:
- Manage the new business sales cycle with HR and Marketing executives at companies with annual revenues of $20-million+
- Consultative, with a Challenger-based sales approach
- Work with a dedicated Business Development Associate as they prospect through an account-based territory and manage leads
- Use Salesforce.com to track and manage pipeline and forecasts accurately
- Consistent execution of Localist’s internal sales methodology and process
And here’s how to know if we’ll be a good fit:
- You have grown to become a top performer (top 10%) with every company you have sold for
- You’re self-motivated and feel empowered in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- You’re committed to our culture of positivity and high performance and you know how to contribute to and build upon it.
- You value feedback and thrive on constant improvement and learning
- You can be engaging, persuasive, and effective in a sales conversation
- You have 5 or more years of inside sales experience selling software via web demos to mid-market/enterprise companies
- You have a deep understanding of the full sales process life cycle (from prospecting to close)
- You can use technology to prioritize and manage the sales process
- You can work beyond your sales role to help our marketing and product teams refine messaging and product features (i.e. create sales/marketing alignment)
We also offer a generous health, wellness, and benefits package:
- Competitive wages and flexible schedules
- ~5 weeks PTO + 10 paid holidays
- 4 paid days per year to volunteer for a not-for-profit of your choice
