Primary Role & Responsibilities
- Internal Accounting needs including the management of financial and compliance requirements for construction projects.
- Manage Construction Draws, Lein Releases, AIA contracts, Pay applications and more.
- Perform all QuickBooks journal entries, etc.
- Assist with tax returns for multiple entities.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports as needed.
- Manage and report contingent liabilities.
- Interact with service providers.
- As you learn the business, your role will evolve relating to new investment opportunities, structures, etc.
Required Experience & Skills
- Interest and ability to thrive in a small environment as a key contributor
- Extremely detailed, producing highly accurate and polished work
- 4 years or more in Accounting
- 2 years or more in construction accounting including
- contract, cost tracking, lien waivers
- Confident professional
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present clear and concise client-ready documents.
- Quickbooks, MS Excel
- Bachelors degree preferred
