Position Summary

We are hiring a Resource Planning Manager to support our rapid growth. The Resource Planning and Training Manager is an essential member of the Lev Operations team and is responsible for matching our talented consultants with our client engagements. The person in this role must be proactive, highly organized, and able to expertly manage multiple work streams simultaneously. Candidates must be resourceful, excellent communicators, and able to work effectively across multiple functional teams. This position is located in our Indianapolis, IN office.

 Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Monitor late-stage opportunities and create a plan to staff engagements that are about to close
  • Analyze the sales pipeline to determine resource needs across all functions and practices
  • Interface with Account Executives, Account Directors, Project Managers, and others to understand staffing needs and plan accordingly
  • Coordinate with senior Operations leaders to balance workloads while minimizing staffing disruptions for our clients
  • Assign people to work engagements based on consultant expertise and availability
  • Create initial project forecasts in our project management system
  • Identify areas for improvement in the staffing process and develop/implement changes to maintain a highly efficient and effective operation
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in our Salesforce org in coordination with our leadership and information technology teams
  • Collaborate with management to identify company training needs 
  • Schedule appropriate training sessions
  • Oversee and direct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions, and lectures
  • Plan and implement an effective training curriculum
  • Prepare hard copy training materials such as module summaries, videos, and presentations
  • Train and guide new employees as well as conduct ongoing training
  • Develop monitoring systems to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities according to training
 
Education and/or Experience
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years’ experience in an operations role responsible for the scheduling of resources 
  • Experience in a professional services organization with a large billable staff
