The Role
Lending Loop is looking for a bright, energetic, highly motivated individual to join our business development team as a Senior Business Advisor. In this role you will be responsible for prospecting and qualifying prospective new clients and opportunities for our financial products; In addition to mentoring and training new Business Advisors. As a part of your day-to-day you will be working directly with members of both our sales and marketing teams and are expected to keep up-to-date on new small business trends and issues. 

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Qualify inbound prospects and conduct the opening discussion for a loan product to small business owners and entrepreneurs while communicating our value proposition. 
  • Mentor and assist in the training of new Business Advisors, including call coaching and on-going team support.
  • Actively work with our marketing team to establish lead acquisition strategies and messaging to improve the client experience and increase MQL to SQL conversions. 
  • Prioritize and organize the lead pipeline for maximum efficiency on a daily basis.
  • Conduct research to identify and qualify prospective clients provided by our outbound team. 
  • Record and update data in our CRM (Salesforce).
  • Build and cultivate relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Perform needs analysis to determine prospect pain points and solutions.
  • Work directly with growth to close the feedback loop on lead quality. 
  • Work with the business development team to improve lead to response time.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience to all prospective clients and loan applicants. 

All About You
  • 2+ years in sales related role. 
  • University degree/ and or College Diploma from an accredited institution. 
  • Competitive nature, goal oriented, results driven.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to “think like an owner”.
  • Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Passionate about sales, small businesses, and financial technology solutions. 
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills with a high level of detail orientation.
  • Ability to successfully prospect a wide range of clients within an SMB environment (C-Level to single owner/operator).
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-growth, changing environment.

Bonus Points
  • Experience in the B2B lending industry. 
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM.
