LeConte Recruiting Firm has partnered with one of the best Medical Device Manufacturers in the US to locate a Quality Manager for their Knoxville Manufacturing facility.
We are looking for a reliable Quality Manager to join our Client's team! As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the sustainable quality of our products and services before customers' consumption.
Quality Manager duties and responsibilities
- Oversee internal processes and procedures to ensure quality
- Oversee other quality control staff
- Implements and maintains ISO 9001 / ISO13485 / GMP / FDA / Medical device standards and regulations in R&D, QA, and Manufacturing areas
- Hire, train and evaluate staff
- Sets and maintains standards of performance and reporting of Quality KPI’S
- Regularly analyze quality data and suggest actions based on collected data
- Manage the log of quality reports and other quality documentation
- Ensure the quality and sustainability of production processes
- Investigate customers' needs and want and develop a strategy for meeting their needs
- Communicate with the Product Development team on a daily basis
- Tracks and trends internal and external customer complaints to identify improvement opportunities, including the management of a robust SCAR and CAPA program
Quality Manager requirements and qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Quality Manager and 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance in a Medical Device and/or Pharma manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required
- Six Sigma certification preferred
- ASQ certification required
- Experience in doing customer research with the purpose to assess their needs and wants
- Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
- Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
- Must be willing to relocate to Knoxville, TN
Salary for the Quality Manager is $100,000 to $130,000
