The USAF School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM) provides Aerospace Medicine Training Education, and consultation to enhance warfighter performance and combat casualty car for worldwide operations in garrison and war. USAFSAM is the center for aeromedical education, training, and consultation in direct support of the US Air Force (USAF) and Department of Defense (DoD). USAFSAM provides peacetime and cont agency support in hyperbarics, human performance, clinical and environmental health, expeditionary medical support, and aeromedical evacuation.

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
The candidate shall...
- Assist in the design, formulation, conducting, and leading of statistical analysis of epidemiological studies on hearing conservation and risk reduction of negative health outcomes affecting the USAF beneficiary population.
- Assist in the management of the retrieval and integration of health information data personnel records, deployment-related records, health surveillance registries, and other military-related data into useable format for end-users.
- Draft reports, documents, and presentations pertaining to area(s) of expertise.
- Present results of studies or investigations through briefings, technical reports and publications into scientific journals.
- Apply knowledge of science and technology to analyze and resolve multifaceted issues and problems with minimal guidance.
- Use biostatistics expertise to supports the surveillance and research.
- Assist in the development of innovative approaches to define and resolve highly complex statistical problems.
- Document and present complex information concepts, and ideas in a clear, concise, well-organized, and timely manner.
