SARAYA is a multi-segmented oriented company in the health, wellness, hygiene, and home care fields with projects in over 20 countries around the world. The Lakanto brand has established Saraya as a leader in healthy, sugar-free lifestyles, and is intent on bringing a healthy home brand to the United States by developing a new line of home and body care products. We are searching for the right person who can lead this new project to grow alongside Lakanto as a new entity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand building - The candidate will be responsible for proposing a new natural body and home care line.
- Project management - To develop this brand a number of projects will be required to get the brand off the ground and moving towards a marketable product line. The candidate should have experience in project management to coordinate related teams.
- Product development - Market research, supply chain resourcing, manufacturer relations, regulatory research and other elements of product development will need to be undertaken
- Budgeting- Lakanto is focused on profitability. A budget and business plan must be maintained to ensure the final brand is profitable and growing
Key Skills and Experience
- Independently motivated - This is the first position of the project, and will need to work exclusively to build the brand and team
- Experience in home and body care products
- Proven track record of project management and leadership
- A network of suppliers, copackers, formulators and other key players in the home and body care field
- Profit focused
- Experience and knowledge in soap and body care
- Team player - While the position is the first in the project, an established team on the Lakanto brand may be available for partnership. Teamwork is essential to the success of the project.
- A genuine interest in health and wellness and fast-moving consumer goods.
