As a member of our customer support team, you will have the opportunity to influence the overall customer experience by reporting directly to Lakanto’s head of customer service. Lakanto is passionate about taking care of its customers in a positive and professional manner and we expect that you will be too. Our Customer Support Specialists provide product information, order support, technical assistance, etc. for customers across various communication platforms (Phone, Company Website with chat & email capabilities, Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, etc.). You will be challenged and engaged!

Responsibilities
- Minimum 1-year experience in customer service
- Full-time 9-5 Availability (Monday through Friday) and holidays (depending on scheduling).
- Project a professional and positive company image in all customer interactions
- Provide information about the products and services to customers
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints (including post-order issues such as returns, replacements, refunds, delivery status, etc.
- Recognize, document and alert supervisors of trends in customer interactions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
- Document and update customer records based on interactions
- Take advantage of sales opportunities when appropriate
- Build Customer Rapport by responding to product/service reviews and through social media interactions
- Occasional Office Receptionist Tasks
Qualifications
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing work environment – we are a start-up after all ;)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Metrics and data-driven
- Proven ability to resolve and retain customer complaints – create raving fans!!!
- Willingness and excitement to learn and grow
Nice to Have
- Experience with customer support software
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
- Experience in a start-up environment
- Familiarity with basic cooking and baking
- Knowledge of sugar replacements/alternatives
