Office Assitant/SCANNER

JOB SUMMARY:
- The main task of a scanning clerk is to produce digital copies of documents for retention purposes. The scanned copies of the documents need to be legible, otherwise, they're of no use. The scanning clerk manning the scanner needs to make any adjustments necessary for clean scans. And responsible for organizing scanned documents on various local, network and cloud storage devices.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform the actual conversion from physical copy to digital copies.
- Responsible for checking the quality of the digital copies. This includes checking if there are low in quality and needs to rescanning.
- Compile all the documents in any kind of folder structure on the computer for easy access.
- Responsible for reporting and updating progress to office management.
- Prepare all documents before the scanning process by removing binders, files, paperclips, sticky notes and other creases in the paper.
- Protect the client and organization by keeping all information confidential.
- Perform preventive maintenance, including checking and cleaning workstations and peripherals as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Scanning clerks are able to perform repetitive tasks with efficiency and attention to detail. Candidates must in a physical condition that might require them to stand for hours while scanning and organizing. Must have at least some experience with corporate scanners and other relevant equipment. Efficient and attentive to details. And a highly organized individual.
EDUCATION:
- Qualified candidates must have at least 2-year college graduate or a Senior High School graduate possessing the aforementioned qualifications.
CASIONAL DUTIES:
- Other administrative tasks (e.g., preparing online performance reports, answering calls)
