Software QA Analyst

Kink.com is seeking a Software QA Analyst to join our awesome team at our offices located in San Francisco’s SOMA District. 

What we need...
We’re looking for someone who is a creative problem solver, resourceful in getting things done, and productive working both independently & collaboratively. This person would be excited to take on the following responsibilities:

  • Support the flow of agile manual testing with 2 other QA team members for pushes Mon - Thurs
  • Review content functionality that is scheduled for release prior to live launch, ensuring the company's quality standards are upheld on every page and internal tool
  • Develop and maintain test cases for existing and upcoming features
  • Assist in the development of comprehensive manual testing
  • Assist in the learning and stabilization of Selenium-based automation testing
  • Document software issues discovered using JIRA and TestRail

  • Highly proficient in manual web testing.
  • Proficient in manual mobile testing.
  • Excellent at analyzing, researching, communicating, and reporting specific defects of a complex nature to software developers.
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Proficient in test case writing and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of web development concepts and QA methodologies.
  • Ability to use various browser plugins to debug issues.
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience in reading code (Javascript a plus).
  • Comfortable working in an Adult Entertainment work environment.
  • Comfortable using Slack for most communication.

Bonus points:
  • Experience within the MEAN technology stack
  • Experience scripting or programming (esp. MySQL, MongoDB)
  • Comfortable with the command line (Mac OS, Linux, Windows)
  • Experience with building, supporting and optimizing an automation framework
  • Experience with Selenium/Mocha/Chai
  • Experience with Docker environments
  • Experience with Git and GitHub (branches, Pull Request merging, unit testing, CI)

  • Work productively in an agile environment while producing quality results set around defined iteration schedules.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while handling and reporting issues.
  • Communicate collaboratively with other QA team members and developers.
  • Creatively solve problems or find ways to do so with an analytical mindset.
  • Think outside the box to create ever-evolving test case scenarios.
  • Be respectful of diversity while using discretion when dealing with explicit material.

Required Education & Experience:
  • Experience working in an Agile based environment.
  • 3+ Years of experience in manual testing.
  • 1+ Years of experience in mobile testing.

POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

  • This is a Full-Time Position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
