As my Client looks for new revenue streams, they are looking for a business development manager who will develop logistics solutions for both potential new sales and existing clients of the company.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the management of the Business Development team, supply chain end-to-end service development with finding new vendors/partners, communicating
potentials sales leads with and team members, and the client onboarding process and various other
tasks to complete projects.
Essential Job Duties:
- Lead a positive, proactive, and results-oriented work culture
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customers’ needs
- Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
- Support new client onboarding process
- Continuously seek new technology which can be added to the company’s menu of global supply chain solution
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of work experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
- Industry/Market knowledge
- Personal computer literate, including effective use of the internet, e-mail, and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, project and time management, customer service, organizational skills and communication skills, both oral and written
- Read, Write, Speak Japanese preferred, but not required
