We are seeking for experienced PhD graduate with industrial biotechnology, bio-processing or biochemistry background to help and lead the fermentation team at JuiceInnov8.
You will plan, manage and lead fermentation team with key deliverables of biomass production and optimization of natural sugar reduction process in juice with multiple microbial strains;
- Lead a development & optimization of Bioprocess Technology team in optimizing sugar reduction process & sensory that fits to company and customer requirements
- Operate bio-reactors from lab scale to pilot scale for sugar reduction and downstream processing
- Collaborate with Strain Development team to onboard new strains from library and identify optimal conditions for cell production and sugar reduction
- Collaborate with Engineering team for a large-scale production
Requirements
- Ph.D. or equivalent in Industrial Biotechnology, Bioprocessing, Biochemistry, Bio/Chemical Engineering or relating fields
- 5+ years research or industry experiences with microbial fermentation
- Expertise or deep knowledge in metabolic and growth pathways of yeasts/bacteria
- Experience in running bioreactor & downstream processing
- Strong leadership skills
