The Role
JoVE is looking for a Biopharma Pre-Sales Specialist to help qualify leads, create opportunities, and be an important part of our account management team. We are looking for a driven inside sales professional with a passion for science, that will be on the front line of the outbound sales effort. This will include phone calls, emails, and meetings to setup product demos, and ultimately work with the account manager to help close the sale.
This role will be based in-house out of our office in Cambridge, MA.
Responsibilities of the Biopharma Pre-Sales Specialist
- Finding and developing new leads for the account manager.
- To achieve this, a steady amount of calls and emails will be required, sourcing from our own prospect database and your own research.
- Manage daily incoming trial requests from the website
- Helping grow the sales team and build a scalable, repeatable process
Qualifications for Biopharma Pre-Sales Specialist:
- A college degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience (science background preferred)
- A positive attitude, and drive to succeed and overcome challenges.
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
- A disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals and achieving success
- The ability to be coached and mentored
- Aptitude to quickly learn new technologies
