Responsibilities of the Sales Account Manager (Part-Time):
- Develop a quality pipeline with assigned schools, manage and lead the sales process.
- Maintain an outbound call volume to faculty members in order to find potential users, generate recommendations and accelerate the sales cycle.
- Establish strong professional relationships with decision makers – academic librarians.
- Work with the marketing team to customize marketing activities per school.
- Meet monthly quota.
Qualifications for the Sales Account Manager Position:
- A college degree and 5 years of relevant experience
- A drive to succeed and a proven ability to be resilient and overcome challenges
- Ability to influence decision makers and close sales
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
- A disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals and achieving success
- Critical problem-solving skills to handle customer questions and overcome objections
- Aptitude to quickly learn new technologies
- Academic sales (preferred)
