Project Manager

Job Purpose:
The Project Manager will manage 25-50 MW of small utility PV projects.  Maintain budgeted gross margins and generate an additional percentage of gross margin through better-than-budget performance each year.   

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Create organizational structures in project management software and spreadsheets
  • Maintain up to date project info in relevant software and spreadsheets
  • Travel to project sites, supervise subcontractors and Joule staff on site as requested
  • Communicate with subcontractors and staff to maintain project schedule
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to the installation
  • Clearly communicate necessary information about project to all related project personnel and ensure their full understanding
  • Understand and communicate full scope of project at a technical level
  • Adhere to OSHA requirements for job sites and communicate those requirements to others

  • Bachelor’s preferred
  • 3-5 years of construction management experience
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Experience with maintaining multiple project schedules with many complex parts
  • Very high level of written and oral communication
  • Technical Proficiencies
    • Advanced understanding of Google Docs, Google Sheets and Excel
    • Advanced understanding of project management and scheduling system
    • Experience with Salesforce
    • Experience with Gmail
