About the Job
Joby Aviation is seeking a highly organized, passionate individual to oversee company construction projects. This individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and budgeting every aspect of Joby-related construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a vast general knowledge of construction best practices
- Provide construction timelines and budgets so quality work is completed on time
- Ensure necessary equipment and building materials are on site when needed
- Acquire all necessary construction permits
- Confirm construction projects comply with building codes
- Source, vet, and manage sub-contractors
- Review construction plans
- Oversee construction projects
Required:
- Current contractor license, valid and in good standing
- Significant experience with manufacturing facility buildouts
- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree/trade certification preferred
- Time management skills
- Personnel management skills
- Building skills
- Ability to read blueprints
