Teller

We are seeking a Teller to join a well-established credit union located in the National City area. Ideal candidates will be flexible, outgoing, great with members, engaging with staff and members, and very professional!

This is a short-term temporary assignment (approximately 6 weeks) with a regular business hours schedule. The manager is looking to interview ASAP, so please do not hesitate to apply.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Perform teller duties with the ability to handle more complex transactions.
  • Responsible for completing and balancing each day's transactions and verify cash totals.
  • Excellent communications and public relations skills.
  • Educate and promote credit union products and services that meet members' financial needs.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace, goal-oriented environment.

Required Education/Skills and Experience:
  • A minimum of six months of cash handling and customer service is preferred.
  • Outgoing, interactive, friendly and engaging team player.
  • Cash handling and member contact experience required.
  • Solid math skills.
  • Basic skills exercising initiative and using good judgement to make sound decisions.
  • PC Skills: Word, Excel, Microsoft office
