** Job Description:
1. Build and manage the company’s Human Resource Department to support the company’s goals and mission through HR activities
2. Oversees the implementation of Human Resources programs through Human Resource staff. Identifies opportunities for improvement and resolves problems discreetly
3. Oversees and manages the work of reporting Human Resources staff. Encourages the ongoing development of the Human Resources staff
4. To review strategic HR policy, system, procedures, policies, regulations and develop qualified workforce to align with company’s business plan
5. Provides a courteous and professional service at all times to maintain positive colleague interactions with good working relationship
6. Generalist background with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, and training and development.
7. Maintain good industrial relations and good employee satisfaction level
8. To review current compensation and benefits policies and ensure the proper implementation of the policies, including salary, insurance, other allowances and benefits
9. Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment
10. Develops and administers programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company
11. Utilises the HRIS system to eliminate administrative tasks, empower employees, and meet the other needs of the organisation
12. Conducts investigations when employee complains or concerns are brought forth
13. Protects the interests of the employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations. Minimises risk.
** Requirements:
1. Minimum 5 to 7 years relevant working experience as Human Resource Generalist or Manager
2. Bachelor’s Degree or MBA in Human Resources, Business, Organisation Development, Law or related field
3. Knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organisational planning, recruitment, organisation development, employee relations, safety, employee engagement, and employee development
4. Leadership with the ability to set clear priorities, delegate, and guide HR Department staff members
5. Demonstrable success and head of a key function with a track record of delivery against key goals and overcoming significant obstacles.
6. High proficiency in English in both written and communication
7. Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills
8. Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must
9. Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the executive management team that provides overall company leadership and direction
10. Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
11. Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources recognition and engagement programs and processes
12. Evidence of the ability to practice and coach organisation managers in the practice of a high level of confidentiality
13. General knowledge of various employment laws and practices and experience working with a corporate employment lawyer
14. Excellent organisational management skills
15. Ability to communicate in Japanese and Vietnamese is a plus
