Head of Sales

Jobble is an on-demand marketplace and management platform that connects the 60 million US gig economy workers seeking jobs with companies offering flexible work opportunities. As the Head of Sales at Jobble, you will be responsible for building out the inside sales team while implementing successful sales strategies that take into account the competitive nature of the gig economy. The successful candidate will have prior experience designing and implementing sales trainings, defining KPIs, and leading inbound and outbound sales strategies in a startup environment.

Responsibilities include:
  • Oversee and execute strategy on company sales initiatives that contribute to Jobble’s growth goals, including demand generation, customer acquisition and service, content, events, and branding
  • Align closely with Product and Marketing teams to, create go-to-market strategies, and create communication and collateral that reflects the company brand and ROI for clients/stakeholders
  • Hire, mentor, and lead a world-class sales team, while developing a long-term plan for sales team structure and growth
  • Lead the team in annual and quarterly planning, keeping track of budget, and reporting on sales initiatives’ performance, with a focus on ROI & revenue growth
  • Design incentive and compensation plans to align target results and sales team motivation
  • Exercise a data-centric approach to gather customer/user insights and use data to improve future sales campaigns and results
  • Prepare and present presentations to the Board, Executive team and company on strategy, progress and results as requested
  • Design, deploy and manage the Sales Onboarding process to reduce ramp time for sales team


Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience of Sales management and leadership.
  • Previous sales experience  with B2B sales required
  • Previous experience working in a start-up environment
  • Has built a team from scratch previously - this isn’t your first rodeo
  • Deep experience configuring and leveraging CRM tools, experience in using Salesforce
  • Proven to establish and maintain multiple networks and relationships
