Solutions Engineering Team
Jebbit is on the lookout for a dynamic front-end solutions engineer. This role is for someone with the technical know-how combined with a passion for building engaging digital content. This person will collaborate with many teams and clients and will become essential in building immersive experiences for Jebbit’s largest enterprise clients. This is not a core engineering role. You will need to have a passion to interact with customers and build creative solutions.
Solutions engineers sits within the engineering org, and are the fast response team for client requests that go beyond technical capabilities of the platform. We are looking for someone that enjoys working with clients, collaborating with multiple teams and wearing multiple hats in a fast paced environment. We are looking for someone that is passionate about the front end and is a subject matter expert in front end technologies such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing digital experiences for Jebbit’s largest brand customers. Below are subset of the types of custom digital executions you will implement:
- Immersive custom layouts and elements which meet the clients look and feel and brand guidelines
- Dynamic capabilities: Dynamically updating dropdowns, dynamic redirects, personalized landing pages, passing data to customers for tracking and attribution leveraging JavaScript
- Custom landing pages or micro sites
- Validation for user input fields
- Templatizing custom components so they can be re-used by clients
- Implementing tracking tags and custom data layers via JavaScript
- Work with product on the productization of common custom development requests so repetitive executions can be built into Jebbit’s self-serve platform
- Work closely with the customer success team to always refine and improve the process with the goal of custom satisfaction and efficiency in mind.
- Communicate highly technical concepts to a variety of audiences from software engineers to the custom success team and of course clients
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working with front end technologies such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS
- Familiarity with SQL, ActiveRecord, Ruby on Rails, jQuery, Ember.js a plus
- Interest in engaging with customer success and client teams to understand customer needs and requirements
- Ability to think outside the box and communicate recommendations to clients on content executions and user experience
- Problem -solving skills that enable you to identify the best solutions
- A strong knack for user experience and front end design
- Manage internal and customer expectations with SLAs
- Juggle competing priorities, the ability to multi-task and possess strong organizational skills
- A passion for continuous learning
- Team player that is able to cross-train and knowledge share with co-workers
- A positive attitude, fun to work with and always open to helping out a co-worker
