Business Planning Analyst, $40-80k/yr DOE, Savannah GA - Direct Hire
A leading global company in the energy field is actively seeking a Business Planning Analyst to join their team. The Business Planning Team functions as the interface between demand and supply and includes order management, scheduling, strategic planning and overall management of sales & operations planning (S&OP). The Business Planning Analyst is the key position for project planning and analysis of project performance.
Daily Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support Business Planning Team with execution, planning, and analysis as requested.
- Plan, coordinate and execute customer quotations process.
- Prepare and document business process flows and procedures to establish and standardize Business Planning processes.
- Develop analysis reports to track and assess project performance: on-time delivery, lead-time, cost, etc. Support development and implementation of improvements to project performance and productivity.
- Manage and support ship loose process for the new unit build.
- Create, maintain, monitor demand and forecast in ERP system; utilize systems to obtain information and create reports regarding delivery, schedule, performance, etc.
- Maintain information in project tracking systems for new build and/or service.
- Support coordination of Customer Witness/Visit for new and/or service manufacturing as required.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources.
- Support ISO 9001 compliance and initiatives.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
- Communicate effectively with subordinates and management at all levels.
- Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of 3rd parties.
- Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times.
Your Qualities:
- Bachelor's degree or at least two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Excel and demonstrated experience/aptitude for ERP, project management software strongly preferred.
- Mathematical Skills, Reasoning Ability, Language Skills
- Computer Skills: Knowledge of ERP systems, and accounting, database, manufacturing, project management, spreadsheet, word processing, and email software.
