Growth Hacker

Position overview:
 
As a Growth Hacker, you will spearhead January.ai’s customer growth in the B2C channel. You’ll find creative ways to help increase downloads of our app as well as user engagement. Although you will report directly to the Marketing Lead, this is not a strictly marketing role and you will work closely with the marketing, engineering, product management teams as you implement growth strategy. 

Roles and Responsibilities:
 
  • Along with company leadership and product management, choose which key performance indicators (KPIs) are important for the growth of our business 
  • Develop and test traditional as well as creative ideas on how to grow those KPIs using channels such as web, email, ads, content, social, community, product, etc.
  • Prioritize and optimize growth channels to improve performance 
  • Analyze user data and feedback to glean actionable insights and work with product and engineering to turn these insights into a more user centric product
  • Drive traffic to the January.ai website, social media accounts, apps, etc 
  • Apply conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles and hacks to January.ai’s business 
  • Work with the AARRR Sales Metrics Diagram (Acquisition – Activation – Retention – Referral - Revenue) 
  • Use referral marketing to try and create viral growth 


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in growth hacking, demand generation, or marketing at a high growth tech startup
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to take a data-driven approach in every situation 
  • Experience building and/or using A/B testing tools including experience running numerous A/B experiments
  • Entrepreneurial and creative spirit with a do whatever it takes attitude 
  • Successful track record using conversion rate optimization tactics 
  • Knowledge of and preferably experience with referral marketing
