Founded in 2017, January is a Menlo Park based pre-launch healthcare company. In response to a healthcare system designed to only to address decline and disease, January is creating a completely new upstream consumer-health category focused on an integrated approach to taking charge of one’s own biology: the multi-omic science of health. Through a scientific examination of what it means for individuals to optimally function and a strong underpinning of machine learning, January provides each person with multidimensional information about their health in a simple and actionable way through our suite of software and consumer products.
Position overview:
January is looking for an energetic, self-motivated and savvy Social Media Content Specialist to provide social media content and planning support for a recruitment and community building campaign. Part strategist, part hands-on tactician, this team-member will have a key role in envisioning, leading and implementing recruiting program participants across social channels and into our health programs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and manage all social media ad campaigns and recruitment strategies
- Strategize and execute all aspects of acquisition, conversion, and participant engagement
- Manage the day to day ad campaigns in a targeted and cost-effective way
- Synthesize data and present outcomes/findings to the team for review and refinement
- Creatively and systematically execute all communication for specific audiences
- Be the point-of-contact for participant queries
- Work with our science programs leads to vet candidates and guide participants through the process
Qualifications:
- A strong understanding and in-depth knowledge of the spectrum of social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc)
- Experience in buying and executing social media ads
- Writer of audience-specific compelling, engaging and fresh social media content that converts
- Strong and transparent communication partner who knows how to work with a diverse team of stakeholders
- Independent, self-motivated lead who can strategize and execution without much guidance
- Brings analytical skills/understanding of metrics and insights into actionable and measurable results
- Agile thinker and doer who can pivot quickly based on the needs of the team and outcome
- Health, wellness, lifestyle, or healthcare experience preferred
- Adobe (Photoshop + Illustrator) and Graphic Design knowledge is a plus.
