GIS Programmer

Jada Systems is looking for a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Programmer/Systems Architect, to support a really exciting project for Los Angeles Department of City Planning (LADCP).

The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Programmer, will be tasked with the responsibility of performing the following:
· Migration of the HistoricPlacesLA (Arches) application, database, and website from AWS to the DCP’s Azure Cloud computing environment
· Develop custom application updates to the HistoricPlacesLA systems for maintaining the inventory (database) of historic resources
· Perform an assessment of the historic resources database design
· Performs an enhancements or revision to the SurveyLA field application
· Design and development an interface allowing for the integration of HistoricPlacesLA and other external systems with the DCP’s Zone information and Map Access System (ZIMAS)
