What you’ll be doing…
Based on itopia’s growing reputation as an innovative upstart partnering with Google Cloud’s ecosystem, Google has provided itopia sales with an abundance of inbound leads and referrals. As itopia moves forward into our next phase of growth, we are building a Business Development team that can leverage itopia’s success and demand generation digital strategy to schedule product presentations and discovery calls with IT departments and service providers.
Business Development Reps at itopia are the sharp end of the spear in our sales process and the next wave of Account Executives helping to accelerate itopia’s growth. They are the first to engage with new prospective customers and partners. The Business Development Rep’s mission is to qualify prospects, determine if there’s a good fit between their needs and itopia’s solution and provide a sneak peak overview demo of itopia’s award winning software. Our customers are global and include Fortune 500 multinationals, global system integrators (SIs), mid-size enterprises, value added resellers (VARs), independent software companies (ISVs) and managed service providers (MSPs).
Some of the specific responsibilities include…
- Absorb the on-boarding manual and be ready to start contacting new prospects 10 days from start date.
- On-board new partners including Fortune 500 multinationals, established ISVs, mid-size enterprises, global system integrators, and managed service providers.
- Conduct sales development best practices with email, phone, and social drips using itopia’s CRM to connect with new prospects.
- Utilize smart, targeted questions to speak knowledgeably with decision makers.
- Skillfully manage the pipeline and build interest to create opportunities with new prospects.
- Walk prospects through a sneak peak demo of itopia’s software.
- Coordinate consultations on account executive’s calendar and log activities in our CRM system.
- Make 50 dials a day.
- Exceed quota of qualified appointments on second full-time month.
