Customer Service and Sales Representative

  • Our Farmers Insurance Agency is located in Los Angeles, CA (Mid-Wilshire/Hancock Park/Korea Town).  We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Sales and Service team. Reporting to the Agency Office Manager you will be responsible for assisting the Agency in meeting both its sales and service goals for Personal Auto, Home, Life, Health & Commercial insurance clients as well as prospects.  We are a fast paced Agency and we need a goal orientated, hard-working individual to help us expand our business….while we also have fun!

    Requirements & Responsibilities Include:
    • P&C (Property and Casualty) and/or Life and Health Insurance license a plus
    • The ability to work independently
    • Perform marketing duties as assigned
    • Assist clients to resolve general customer service inquiries as needed
    • Following up with existing and potential customers
    • Reviewing coverage selections with customers
    • Cross sell insurance products, identify sales leads, and follow-up with outbound calls 
    • Understand and analyze client’s life events that may offer sales cues for additional opportunities to meet the client needs    
    • Bilingual (English & Spanish) required
    • Perform other duties as assigned
