interRel Consulting is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Regional Sales Director – Great Lakes. The Regional Sales Director will focus on selling EPM and BI consulting services and support contracts within the Great Lakes Region and must have a consistent record of hitting annual sales quotas of more than $2 million.
This role is responsible for covering the following territory: Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Ontario (Toronto) and must be based in the territory.
The Regional Sales Director’s primary responsibility will be in creating and sustaining relationships with clients to drive revenue. Qualified candidates should be able to quickly establish rapport, demonstrating an ability to sell to the executive level. This role will call on established clients but will also require prospecting, identifying, qualifying, and closing new opportunities. The Regional Sales Director must possess a high level of personal accountability to deliver results.
Candidates must have a deep understanding the following Oracle product offerings and their pricing structures:
- Oracle EPM Solutions (both on-premises and Cloud)
- Oracle Analytics (Business Intelligence)
- Hyperion (Legacy) Applications
Business Development
This position requires an independent and proactive individual, who will ensure that a variety of business development and marketing activities are completed on a routine and timely basis. The following are examples of some of those activities:
- Schedule and attend meetings with clients to identify new opportunities, deliver sales presentations, and close business
- Create project proposals, CSAs, and SOWs
- Develop/maintain business plans and forecasts
- Track client and project activity in internal databases
- Develop strong relationships with Oracle channel managers
- Attend Oracle partner events
- Organize and promote events with Oracle (i.e., seminars)
- Understand and use CRM (Hubspot) data to conduct email blasts and phone calls for campaigns

Additional Details
- Candidates must be US citizens or legal residents as we do not sponsor H1B visas or green cards for this position.
- Regional Sales Directors are expected to attend certain conference events such as OpenWorld, Collaborate, and Kscope. Additional travel will be necessary to visit prospective and current customers in your territory.
- Regional Sales Directors are expected to continuously enhance their product knowledge in the Oracle EPM & Analytics suites.
