Position Preview
The Dealer Sales Specialist will join our office in Edison, New Jersey and provide account management for existing showroom and online retailer accounts as well as develop new accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales growth, relationship management and has worked with manufactured goods or products before.
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to current and potential retail accounts
- Work with customer service to ensure timely delivery of products, response to inquiries and day to day servicing of accounts
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships with accounts
- Oversee customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements
- Maintain product assortment on the online channel, making sure product information and pricing is up to date, coordinating the launch of new products to the channel as they become available and negotiating marketing exposure of new collections
- Propose display for new and current showrooms with the goal of increasing brand exposure in key cities
- Propose, coordinate and attend point of sale events in collaboration with marketing in key cities
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/annual initiatives to internal stakeholders
- Develop new business with existing clients and identify/open new accounts
- Prepare reports on account status
- Up to 25% potential travel
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Interior Design, business, marketing, communications or related field
- Experience in sales, specifically dealer sales
- Experience in manufactured goods or products
- Experience in account management
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
- Proven track record in sales growth
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to speak Spanish, preferred
- Passion for Interiors and Architecture
Compensation and Benefits - Depending on experience and certifications
- Annual Base Salary, Range $50,000 - $60,000
