Position Preview
Our award winning client is seeking a highly motivated, creative individual with 5- 7+ years of experience to join a dynamic team in our Chicago office. Individual must have experience executing all aspects of a design project -- from concept through installation -- including construction. Should have the ability to manage budgets, schedules, sourcing, proposals, quoting, expediting, reporting, etc. Candidate must have a strong sense of urgency, priority, organization and follow-through. The individual must also be resourceful, discreet, dependable and enthusiastic, with a demonstrated ability to take charge.
Position Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience managing all aspects of a design project
- Ability to work with Principal and Senior Creative Director to execute design projects
- Maturity to effectively interface with staff, vendors, contractors and clients
- Proficient in the use of Photo Shop, Excel, AutoCAD, Studio Designer, Word and related programs
- Degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture from an accredited program
- Excellent communication skills with a team-focused approach
- Highly detailed and able to juggle many tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A developed knowledge of furniture and antiques preferred
