Position Preview
The Marketing & Brand Director - US must, always, ensure that the corporate brand and communication plans plus strategy is being implemented the strongest way possible in the US. To secure this the Director will have to be the link between corporate product design & brand management plus the sales organization in the US to facilitate plans, tools and structures in order to secure proactive planning and implementation.
The Marketing & Brand Director - US will be responsible for collecting and sharing best practice between markets and develop guidelines for working regionally with PR, social media, campaigns, media plans, product launches, showroom events and specifier visits etc. The Director will not have to develop guidelines on her/his own but in collaboration with the different teams in corporate brand & communication but will take responsibility for implementing them in the US.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Public Relations
- Develop a US PR strategy together with the US PR agency and secure the implementation
- Conduct one-on-one meetings with press in major cities aligned with product launches
- Secure that the US is provided with the relevant press releases in due time for local implementation
- Working closely together with the Corporate Director, Brand & Communication to secure the link between HQ and US.
- Showroom
- Secure and develop an annual showroom activity plan together with Showroom Sales Manager
- Secure that all new product launches are installed in time (Feb/Sep yearly)
- Secure that the US is provided with up-dated guidelines for the brand
- Working closely together with the corporate CVI team about the showroom guidelines
- Supported marketing
- Secure that annual media and activity plans are shared with Corporate
- Secure corporate launch wheel structure is shared, communicated and implemented in the US
- Coordinate and secure the media plan is executed according to plans
- Coordinating new Point-of-Sale/Shop-In-Shop presentations and adapt to the US market
- Develop a newsletter plan aligned with corporate’s input
- Engage agents to be top of mind and create more sales
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or similar
- 5+ years’ experience in high-end brand marketing & brand direction
- Experience with Lighting and Design, preferred
- Experience with US territory and management
- Adobe suite experience

Compensation and Benefits
Depends on experience, certifications and portfolio
- Annual Base Salary: Range $100,000 - $125,000
