Position Preview
Position Responsibilities
- Requests and maintains all client documentation with regard to project
- Acts as main client contact point
- Determines terms and prepares contract packages
- Manages all project team efforts to facilitate effective execution of project design and the delivery of construction documents
- Coordinates design group interaction both internally and externally
- Develops production schedule and manages to that schedule. Prepares strategic plans for projects
- Develops job costs, job budget, and manpower projections
- Manages project financial performance
- Overseas the preparation of detailed code and zoning analysis
- Exercises skills of persuasion and negotiation on critical issues
- Oversees both internal and external members of project team
- Monitors construction progress with client
- Leads medical /clinical user group meetings
Perform the following aspects of project management, guiding others in the firm, both by example and direct involvement:
- Staffing
- Budget and schedule
- Contracts
- Programming
- Design management
- Construction documents
- Project Approvals
- Project Communications
Position Qualifications
- Professional degree from an accredited program
- 10+ years’ experience – healthcare sector
- South Florida hospital group experience
- Architectural Registration preferred
- LEED credential preferred
- Knowledgeable of CAD and/or BIM and other drafting and presentation tools
- Current experience with inpatient and outpatient healthcare projects required (programming phase through construction)
- Understands major medical equipment and functions of medical/clinical departments
- Familiar with CBC and OSHPD requirements for design, documentation, plan review and construction of healthcare facilities

Compensation and Benefits
Depends on experience, certifications and portfolio
- Annual Salary, range $110,000 - $120,000
