Position Preview
The Interior Designer will use a combination of their education, experience and creativity, as well as knowledge of commercial, government and healthcare facilities, to design, specify and develop layouts for medium and large furniture and interior office / work place projects.
Position Responsibilities
- Coordinate, organize and lead design teams for medium to large scale work place interior projects
- Develop documents for interior design and construction administration activities
- Plan, schedule and direct the development of interior project requirements
- Deliver client presentations, serve as point of contact to the client, provide follow up & feedback
- Supervising and coordinating with Jr. Staff
- Performing specific project design, space planning, and development tasks including drawings, calculations, cost estimates and FF&E specifications
- Review and understand drawings/concepts prepared by others
- Participates in meetings and activities
- Reading/responding to and developing FF&E bids and responses
Position Qualifications
- 4+ years commercial interior design experience
- BS/BA Degree in interior design, architecture or relevant
- 4+ years systems furniture, dealer/contract furniture and space planning experience
- NCIDQ Certification and LEED Certification (preferred but not required)
- AutoCAD (required), CET (preferred) and Revit (a plus)
- Leadership experience demonstrating effective, positive minded and creative solution-oriented
- Strong knowledge of the architectural design process
Compensation and Benefits
Depends on experience, certification(s) and portfolio
- Base Salary Range $58,000 - $65,000+
- Full benefits package including; healthcare, PTO, paid holidays, 401K and A&D Insurance
