    The Showroom Manager should be energetic, passionate about kitchen and bath design, personable, and have professional sales experience.  The team is expected to provide prompt and friendly service when working with homeowners, design trade, and contractors.

    Position Preview
    Responsibilities
    • Manage all staff (3 - 4 employees), operations and financial concerns with the store
    • Develop and motivate the sales and design team
    • Operate within the firms processes and procedures
    • Achieve profitability and meet all financial, merchandising, and customer service objectives
    • Coordinate all training programs with the firm and be capable of facilitating designated on-site training programs
    • Drive sales and achieve or exceed monthly sales goals and GM
    • Follow up on leads and generate new business
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Build and maintain long customer relationships, creating referrals and repeat business
    • Develop and maintain knowledge of product lines and features
    • Oversee in store and in-home design consultations for kitchens and bathrooms
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and updated showroom
    • Plan for weekly staff meetings, monthly one-on-ones and annual performance reviews
    • Establish “best practices” and procedures for the store
    • Promote a positive team atmosphere and proactive thinking
    • Offer a high level of customer service and set that tone for the store
    • 75% of time should be spent on the sales floor selling and modeling strong sales techniques

    Skills
    • Be self-directed, detailed, and highly organized
    • College degree or equivalent work experience
    • 5+ years of management experience in retail environment
    • Manage and develop customer, trade, and firms’ relationships
    • Demonstrate skill and set example for solution selling and design
    • Possess excellent planning, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
    • Be capable of being a strong leader, able to quickly build trust, and manage a results-driven and service-minded team.
    • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Be a strong advocate of personal team development
    • Understand all products and have a strong sense of aesthetics

    Qualifications
    • Undergraduate/trade/design school education preferred, or equivalent experience required.
    • Minimum 5+ years retail management experience
    • Computer literate
    • Prior high end or luxury retail experience
    • Experience with architectural blueprints and have a strong sense of aesthetics
    • Possess strong verbal and written skills

    Compensation and Benefits – Depends on experience and certifications
    • Annual Base Salary, range $70,000
    • Commission structure
