Vice President of Programmatic Data Sales
Job Overview
The VP of Programmatic Data Sales will manage all sales efforts towards securing consistent buy-side PMP and programmatic guaranteed spend. The purpose of this role is to bring in deals that leverage our proprietary embed, unique inventory and first party data. The role will involve working with SSPs, DSPs, Agency Trading Desks and data exchanges. The VP of Programmatic Data Sales will ultimately be responsible for managing all sales efforts on the buy-side.
Challenges and Opportunities for the position
The role offers a massive opportunity to grow out our buy-side business and bring in consistent PMP and guaranteed revenue. The challenge will be to bring in buy-side business while also building out a team. Ultimately, the VP of Programmatic Data Sales has the ability to develop and grow this department from the ground up.
Responsibilities and Duties.
- Previous experience in selling data is a MUST
- Familiarity with selling PMPs and programmatic guaranteed on programmatic exchanges is a plus
- Experience selling deals based on audience segment targeting and working within Liveramp is a plus
- Sell data segments from proprietary DMP on data exchanges
- Proven ability at closing programmatic deals and retaining customer spend
- Leverage relationships with agencies, buyers and DSPs to bring in spend
- Consistently follow up with potential buyers
- Work with product to develop new features aimed at increasing sales
- Consistently monitor the industry to understand new trends and innovation
- Provide all necessary campaign information to Ad Ops and Account Management team for campaign execution
