We have an opportunity to provide ecommerce customer service for our clients and are searching for an Ecommerce Customer Service Agent to help us grow this aspect of our company. Summary – ECOMMERCE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT
Ecommerce Customer Service Agents are responsible for executing established processes, providing direct inbound (phone and email) customer service for ecommerce consumers and suggesting process improvements. This is a full time position, available to candidates located in the tri-sate NYC area
Job Description:
- Perform telephone and email customer service functions
- Process phone orders in ecommerce platform (Shopify)
- Maintaining records of all customer interactions in CRM/CS Platform
- Update shipping information and all change requests in ecommerce platform (Shopify)
- Implement customer service policies per established guidelines
- Assist Flash Account Managers as requested (e.g., quality assurance, team reports, etc.)

- Technology Aptitude: Must have basic technology aptitude including working with off of the shelf customer support platforms and ecommerce platforms
- Organized: Highly organized, responsive and meet deadlines
- Communication: Must be able to effectively communicate (phone, email, in person, etc.) with management, clients, associates and consumers. Must convey professional and helpful image
- Judgment/Business Savvy: Must have good problem-solving skills, be able to think on feet, display business savvy (what makes sense for the consumer/client/internal, etc.) and anticipate consequences
- Self-motivated: Expected to hold themselves accountable, take initiative, have pride in their work, strive for continuous improvement and provide value add
REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ year ecommerce customer service experience preferred.
- Understanding of general ecommerce (power ecommerce shopper) and an understanding of typical issues associated with shipping, returns, etc.
- Competency regarding general business software tools (e.g, Word, Xcel, email, etc.)
