The Role
 
The ideal candidate must be an effective strategist and communicator who can take a proactive, consultative approach in developing new business opportunities, managing relationships, and responding to the needs of their teams, partners & prospects. As a Regional Manager you will be expected to lead your team to consistently meet and exceed partner growth quotas annually. This position will report to the Director of Sales and will also work closely with the Partner Operations, Growth, Customer Success, and Business Development teams.
 
The Responsibilities
 
  • Drive sustainable and profitable loan sales growth across assigned region.
  • Lead the expansion of Aura’s footprint as well as maintaining current base by working with Territory Managers to build and maintain relationships with key partners and identifying new partners or market opportunities.
  • Support, train, coach, and motivate a regional sales team to achieve specific sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Successfully manage team in maintaining a full pipeline of revenue generating activities to create month-to-month production consistency.
  • Effectively utilize key metrics to hold the regional sales team accountable and drive growth
  • Ensure the regional sales team is visiting, reviewing and analyzing partner locations regularly to identify additional sales opportunities and maximize loan production.
  • Provide timely and accurate team updates to the Director of Sales.
  • Manage the relationship with various business partner entities along with managing service quality to ensure ongoing partner satisfaction. 
  • Identify and successfully recruit the region’s top talent while simultaneously driving increased performance of the existing team through sales training, coaching, and leading by example.
 
Your Skills Profile
 
Strong leader with a proven track record in building and developing top performing sales teams and driving top-of-the-funnel sales volume. Experience in micro-finance, or B2B2C is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • 10+ years experience building and leading high performing sales teams.
  • 10+ years experience in account management, sales or business development.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and balance a regional team and individual workloads through effective time management, prioritization, and organization skills.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in new business development strategies and lead qualification
  • Ability to travel up to 70% to manage, coach, and motivate Territory Managers in multiple markets.
  • A self-motivated leader, with strong organizational skills, results-driven, strategic with the ability to execute tactical plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications which include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Fluency in English & Spanish.
