Who We Are:

We are inHouse, a membership club for people who care about restaurants, founded by the former Head Maître D at The NoMad. We bring together restaurant professionals and avid diners through a bookings platform, curated dining experiences, the latest industry news and member events, with the goal of fostering and supporting an enlightened dining community. We currently work with a select group of 60+ acclaimed restaurant partners across New York & London with expansion into additional markets coming this Fall.

About the Role:

The restaurant and member liaison is a crucial role in our booking’s process, one of the main ways that inHouse actively connects diners to restaurants. You will interface with both inHouse members and our restaurant partners. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and extremely organized. You are a gear-shifter, comfortable managing multiple projects and communication channels simultaneously, while understanding how all the details fit into a larger picture. 

While this role is primarily administrative in nature, there will be enormous room for growth and opportunities to take on additional responsibilities as the company expands.

Strong performers will have the ability to develop relationships with some of the most important restaurants in New York City. Prior experience working in the NYC dining industry will be extremely helpful in this role but is not a must.

This role can either be a part-time or full-time position, depending on the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist and field booking requests for inHouse members
  • Cultivate and manage a network of relationships with inHouse members and restaurants
  • Offer curated dining and other hospitality related recommendations across the inHouse network
  • Work closely with the founders and management team on exciting projects on a regular basis
 
Requirements:

  • Superb organizational & communication skills, particularly via email
  • Has a detail-oriented mentality in all aspects of work
  • Always finds the “yes” in any situation - has a can-do attitude. Thinking out of the box and always looking to employ creative solutions to everyday problems
  • Extremely high EQ and empathy; an ability to connect & engage with all manner of personalities
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • An authentic & real interest in hospitality, restaurants, travel & culture in New York and beyond
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
