Marketing/ New Media Coordinator

Ingenuity Studios, a visual effects studio located in Los Angeles, is seeking a Marketing/New Media Coordinator. This position will be responsible for helping to drive the company’s marketing and content development initiatives. The right candidate will be a self-starter, self-manager and comfortable with taking taking ownership of projects.  


  • Drive and develop content for use in public relations, website, advertising and social efforts
  • Coordinate with company’s editorial team to create and promote reels
  • Collaborate with company’s business development team to provide marketing support
  • Manage and maintain company’s website, working with company’s development team to continuously improve the user experience and 
  • Manage PR/awareness campaigns
  • Assist in further developing the company’s brand and voice, helping to evolve the message
  • Prepare and submit applications for industry awards and obtain all necessary agency and client approvals and permissions
  • Help develop a strategy and campaigns to position the company as a “thought leader” within the VFX industry


  • College degree in communications, advertising, marketing, or a related field, and/or a combination of education and experience equivalent to that level of professionalism, problem solving, and analytical skills required
  • A passion and proven track record for creating unique and engaging content
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Entertainment or Visual Effects industry knowledge base preferred
  • Experience with social media tools and outlets
  • Ability to self-manage, and to prioritize and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • SEO experience a plus
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience/expertise desired


Bachelor in CS or equivalent experiences
