Sales Specialist

Info Tech is seeking a Sales Specialist to join our Sales and Marketing team.

At one point, you actually convinced your teacher that your dog did, in fact, eat your homework.  But despite your natural charisma, you lead with empathy.  At the end of the day, you understand tactics, insight, and the right time to act.

As a Sales Specialist at Info Tech, you’ll work with a mixture of industry data and instinct to move leads along the purchase cycle.  You’ll cover national inbound and outbound demand generation fulfillment for the entire sales cycle. You’ll also help facilitate strategic planning between the Sales & Marketing departments to keep new leads flowing in.

Our team enjoys the satisfaction of breaking the traditional mold of the normal sales process by applying innovative, cold call-free, strategic methodologies in B2B and B2G SaaS sales that are vital to the company’s long term success. 

Typical Duties Include:
  • Working with potential customers, uncovering their issues, determining fit, and applying a solution that works for their unique context.
  • Engaging with engineering firms and public agencies at industry conferences and through strategic email prospecting.
  • Leading webinars demonstrating our products and services.
  • Proactively manages a warm lead pipeline through phone, email, and onsite customer visits. 
  • Creating, negotiating, and closing agreements.
  • Maintaining Management by Objectives (MBO) goal setting related to revenue, calls/emails, opportunities, demos, etc.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong desire to pursue a career in sales.
  • Experience in a customer facing role.

Preferred Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and 2 years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Superior analytical skills and independent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Experience presenting/facilitating in group settings.
  • Industry knowledge/experience with road construction and/or engineering is a major plus.

Other Requirements
This position may require occasional travel (up to 15%).
