What We Are Looking For
Info Tech is seeking an Assistant Director of Contracts (ADC) to set a vision for Info Tech’s contract management process. The ADC will lead a team responsible for a portfolio of 200+ renewable and non-renewable contracts and licenses. Typical activities may include RFP/RFQ solicitation reviews, price proposal reviews, contract negotiation, documentation, certification, and close-out and deliverables.
The ADC will educate employees company-wide on contracts and compliance, helping them make informed decisions regarding contractual agreements and ensuring that Info Tech's internal and external customers receive the maximum contractual benefit for the services Info Tech provides.
The successful candidate will establish procedures to identify contractual terms and conditions, ensure compliance, reduce risk, eliminate complexity and provide efficient contract administration to internal and external parties.
The position manages a team of two contracts managers and reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Operations. The ADC will also collaborate with the Associate Vice President for Corporate Affairs on issues related to intellectual property.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 4 years relevant experience; or Master’s Degree in related field and 2 years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6-10 years of experience drafting agreements and negotiating effective, compliant contracts.
- Knowledge and familiarity with life cycle contract administration of software development, software as a service, consulting, and project management requirements.
- Knowledge, familiarity and ability to work with other functions (i.e., Accounting, Finance, Sales and Marketing, Development) as they relate to contract administration.
- Experience with procurement lifecycle.
