Title:- DevOps Developer
Location:- Eagan,MN
Duration:- 12+ Months
Key Duties and Responsibilities
i. Code - code development and/or review, implement source code, code merging management and/or support
ii. Build - implement, build and support tools and scripts to assist automation.
iii. Test - manage and configure continuous testing tools that provide feedback on business risks
iv. Package - artifact repository, application pre-deployment staging
v. Release - change management, release approvals, release automation
vi. Configure - infrastructure configuration, support and management of software tools to automate operations
vii. Monitor - the deployment operations and insure high quality performance that result a positive user experience
Minimum Qualifications
viii. A minimum of 5 years of technical operations experience
ix. REDHAT Enterprise Linux and/or CentOS build, development, and operations
x. OpenStack and/or Artifactory development and operations experience
xi. Experience with some exposure to Ansible Tower and other automation skills
xii. Software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, packaging, deployment, upgrade and support of Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins
xiii. Python coding experience Technical Expertise: * Experience with other configuration management tools (Puppet, chef, salt)
xiv. Software-defined network technologies including OVS, OVN, NFV, etc.
xv. Hypervisor technologies including KVM * Perl, Shell, Ruby, or similar programming experience.
xvi. QA and testing experience of your code and the entire platform. We test everything
xvii. Ability to prepare instruction manuals, procedures/processes and related documents
xviii. Experience with Microsoft Office 2013/2016 and Windows 10
Additional Desired Qualifications
xix. Previous federal, state or local governmental work related IT technical writing experience.
xx. Previous technical writing experience with a major computer software and/or hardware company
