Job Summary:
- Responsible for the administration and/or coordination of multiple programs and IT projects.
- Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, manages project meetings, agendas, minutes, correspondence, and identifies and resolves technical problems.
- Facilitate meetings, identifies and analyzes system requirements, and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables. Responsible for layout of presentations, reports, and statistical tables.
- Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately.
- Familiar with a variety of the fields concept, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Works under general supervision; typically reports to a team lead or supervisor/manager.
- The Project Coordinator is responsible for the Powertrain Systems team coordination of the systems deliverables across multiple programs and projects.
- This position is responsible for compiling project status reports, coordinating project schedules, managing project meetings, agendas, minutes, correspondence, and helping to coordinate issue identification and resolution.
- This role will include facilitate meetings, assist with the identification and analysis of system requirements, working with the Department Manager in defining project scope, Powertrain Electrical Engineering systems deliverables, creation of presentations, reports, and statistical analysis of captured systems data.
- The Project Coordinator must be highly organized, possess a creative passion and demonstrate a high degree of written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work in a team environment is a must in this role.
- This person will report to the Powertrain Electrical Engineering Systems Manager and will work closely with the Systems Supervisors and engineers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- or equivalent work experience in Business, Communications and/or Technical Program Management where the candidate has demonstrated the ability to lead a team effectively on project objectives and activities with strong program coordination skills
- Candidate must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Travel and Driving Requirements
- Will be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
- Will be required to drive a company car. Valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record.
