Usual days include:
Sales Support & Sales Enablement:
- Reporting and sales analytics to produce pipeline, bookings, trending, whitespace and pricing, using Salesforce and other tools
- Onboarding of sales reps
- Creation and management of winning documents (e.g., product specific analysis of our value proposition, key differentiators and competitive analysis)
- Manage and execute sales meetings (sales Summit, mid-year and sales all hands calls and meetings, organizing weekly one on one Sales VP & reps)
- Assisting and preparing for key conferences such as managing booth set up logistics and all supplies, shipping, organizing/booking client entertainment events/dinners
- Manage communication to sales team on highlights, initiatives and competition
- Maintain market competitive analysis
- Assist in creating sales incentives to drive key initiatives
- Collaboration with VP Sales on quarterly/annual business reviews, national reports and short and long-term strategy
- Participate in creating a roadmap for sales excellence and establish best practices for sales team
- Collaboration with marketing on messaging to clients
- Product and workflow expertise to support the sales team with client-facing demos and questions
- Work with VP Sales on ROI calculators
- Subject matter expertise on product capabilities
- Answer RFP questions as needed
Pricing & Analytics:
- Work with VP Sales and CEO to create and maintain all pricing metrics
- Work collaboratively with sales team to assist in opportunities with Sales, Finance and Product as needed
- Create weekly /monthly funnel report
- Create annual territory mapping based on whitespace and key initiatives
Salesforce.com Administration:
- Oversee Salesforce as our main tool for managing our business functions throughout our organization
- Pricing and configuration updates
- Utilize plug ins LinkedIn, Hubspot, email data sources
- Oversee marketing initiatives
- Assist in setting up Campaign emails
- Track leads and assign to Sales reps in defined territories
- Work with the cross-functional groups to drive efficiencies through automation of processes with Salesforce. Interface with all internal groups to understand business need, establish requirements and deliver functionality as required.
Lead Gen:
- Help with territory marketing
- Acquisition of new contacts by leveraging data sources including HR Industry meetings industry associations, conferences
- Promote new and emerging products and markets by helping to gain interest and assist in securing meetings for sales reps
- Drive attendance to entertainment dinners , webinars, marketing campaigns and prospecting events, conferences
- Data hygiene of contacts and accounts in Salesforce
Unusual days include:
- Playing board games until the wee hours of the afternoon
- Showing your stuff in competitive games of mini golf
- Traveling to Napa and relaxing in the breeze
