What will you do in this role?
For starters, no day will be the same. You will help manage and oversee multiple political campaign accounts as well as issue advocacy work. You’ll initiate and execute complex and innovative digital strategies to help further campaign goals.
You will also:
- Produce and proactively pitch comprehensive digital strategy for top-tier clients in the political and issue advocacy space
- Communicate complex, integrated campaign strategy to clients - and how our approach aligns with campaign goals and objectives
- Effectively communicate budgets, reports, campaign analysis, KPIs
- Pitch emerging tactics, approaches, and platforms to clients
- Build and execute engaging creative campaigns through omni-channel marketing efforts - including advertisements, social, email, text, web push
- Manage budgets, proactively identify and pitch upsell opportunities
- Solve problems, because let’s face it, no campaign is without its surprises
- Manage internal teams on all aspects of a digital campaign, including ownership of timelines, project materials, documents, assets, reports, meetings, etc.
- Stay organized, efficient, and proactive
Here’s what we are looking for on your resume
- Superb writing and communication skills (Is that a grammatical or spelling error on your resume?)
- Interest in politics and current events (You will be in it every day; you might as well enjoy it!)
- A few years of experience under your belt in account/client management and managing internal teams (You have to know how to deal with people externally and internally with compassion and tact.)
- Knowledge of social networks, new media technologies, online advertising platforms, email marketing, website development, and online fundraising (We are a digital agency at our core.)
Also, there will be times when this role will require you to work late hours and occasionally on the weekends, especially around election cycles. A positive attitude and excitement about your work is a must!
