Statement of Intent
Safely and effectively manufacture complete shipments of high quality stile and rail doors within 5-business days.
Responsibilities
Be flexible and adaptable to the changes that will happen in your job very soon
Lead in a manner that fosters a “want to environment” rather than a “have to environment”
Work and lead in a safe manner at all times
Maintaining production levels based on Production Supervisor’s plan
Coordinate available Technicians within the work area to meet production goals
Timely tracking of production rates and early identification of issues
Identify and work through obstacles that impede production and hinder excellent teamwork
Accurately analyze and constructively solve production issues within the work area
Effective and timely communication with other Production Leads, and Production Supervisor
Maintain and improve the quality of the work being performed in the work area
Support and foster adherence to the work area’s Best Practices
Maintain and review Best Practices
Revising Best Practices via a consensus building process with the Micro Teams, Production Supervisor and Management
Constructively lead discussion of issues within Micro Teams
Collaborate with others to further increase quality and build production capability
Facilitate and lead the development of the Micro Team covering the work area
Correct use and instruction of terminology relevant to the work area
Training Technicians in the work area’s Best Practices
In case of planned or unplanned absence, plan for Areas of Responsibility to be covered by others
Further develop Areas of Responsibility under the guidance of the Production Supervisor and Management
Engage in personal leadership development
Assist in monitoring material inventory, supply levels, and tools needed to effectively complete quality work
Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs, occasionally 75-100 lbs
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Pre-employment drug screen required
2 x 10-min breaks paid, 30-min lunch break unpaid
Full-time position 40-50 hours per week, M-F
Compensation depending on ability and performance $18-24/hr
Annual $100 stipend for personal safety equipment
Health Insurance provided after 60-day trial period
