Warehouse Support Lead

Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Warehouse Support Lead will lead departments to meet daily requirements, meet business goals, and pursue continuous improvements. The Warehouse Support Lead will follow safety practices, train, and develop team members to be able to identify techniques to improve product packaging quality. The Warehouse Support Lead will implement current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and FDA inspections requirements/guidelines.  
Job Expectations:

  • Performs in-process inspections, and quality related issues as they arise  
  • Follow all standard operating procedures and safety regulations 
  • Verifies shipping orders are inspected in a timely manner 
  • Verifies accuracy of shipping orders including cosmetic outer shipping packages appearance 
  • Verifies accuracy of production or location; may set or assign locations of products
  • Performs count of product/reconciliations (count cycle)
  • Support of warehouse personnel with inventory issues and physical management of inventory
  • Inventory troubleshooting and research to complete customer order(s) 
  • Make sure that inventory levels are maintained within proper guidelines resolve and report any discrepancies to management. 
  • Train new or newly assigned team members in the proper methods and standard operating procedures of all job functions
  • Confer with other Leads in the distribution center to ensure coordination of other warehouse activities
  • Identify areas of risk as it relates to theft and move high-risk items to reduce the theft
  • Document issues/challenges and report to management
  • Responsible for training, ensuring accuracy and maintaining productivity levels
  • Adheres to company policies and procedures; follows department training guidelines, best practices, and operating procedures
  • Keeps work area neat and clean
  • Maintains standards of appearance according to location dress code
  • Follows all location Safety Guidelines
  • Ensures equipment and other department supplies are maintained

Experience Requirements:

Generally requires a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of related experience

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
