About the Role:
The Project Manager is responsible for seeing our software engineering projects through from start to finish. It is your goal to develop detailed project plans, ensure resource availability and allocation, and deliver every project on time within budget and scope. With a mixture of technical knowledge and leadership, this role oversees the product being produced and those contributing work to the project. As a source of consistency throughout a project, the project manager will field questions and provide up to date information to internal stakeholders. It is the responsibility of project managers to allocate resources as necessary, while aiming to do things better, faster, and more efficient whenever possible - without sacrificing quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and monitor the performance and efficiency of programs and tools to ensure that the product roadmap is on target.
  • Oversee and work closely with product management personnel to drive the Identity Automation Product Release Management Process.
  • Work closely with the CTO, engineering, design, product management, and QA it is our goal to deliver the best products for our clients
  • Monitor product revenue and expense reports, review for accuracy and completeness and ensure that program expenses are charged correctly (if not research and provide reasons for discrepancies).
  • Manage the overall (operations and technical) project planning through reporting on project schedules and deliverables; as well as plan, manage and monitor minor projects from concepts through implementation.
  • Break down the various elements involved in completing the project, including generating a timetable, assigning tasks to team members, and developing checkpoints for progress.
  • Identify and track project risks and define mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate status and schedule to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Prepare presentation materials and reports for management, including roadmap reports, key performance parameters,etc. 
  • Provide support to the department by gathering and analyzing data in the establishment and/or maintenance of core team processes, procedures and policies.
  • Increase cross-functional alignment by driving corporate life cycle process usage, field questions as needed, and serving as the liaison between teams and/or departments .
  • Help determine what tests should be run on the product, and inspect the results for quality.
  • Capture software design in documentation to improve organizational knowledge.
  • All other tasks, responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or related qualification
  • 5+ years of hands on experience in project management role on a software development team
  • Deep understanding of software development, management, and release processes
  • Ability to break down complex product requirements into an executable plan
  • Strong technical understanding of web-based client-server applications
  • Raise team productivity and effectiveness by defining and driving metric-driven software engineering best practices
  • Lead daily scrums, sprint planning and review meetings.
  • Ability to execute on the set strategic direction, prioritize, and the ability to articulate the rationale behind those decisions
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; comfortable interacting with diverse internal stakeholders
  • Excellent project management skills; familiarity with both agile and waterfall development methodologies
  • A desire to contribute, learn, and make things happen
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
