Sales Development Rep

The Sales Development Representative is a highly motivated professional driven to succeed and wishing to move forward into a career in Sales. sales rep! The Sales Development Representative's primary responsibility is to contact leads for the purpose of qualifying them for a more in-depth discussion with our Account Executives. The leads will come from a variety of marketing sources that are focused on lead generation. Your overall responsibility is to quickly qualify these opportunities and work with the sales team to bring them to closure. This is a great opportunity, with

This job is perfect for a recent college grad or person with a few years experience for an exciting opportunity with a growing software company.

Main responsibilities:
• Identifying and creating new qualified opportunities from
inbound/outbound leads
• Meet/exceed daily activity goals
• "Multi-channel" follow-up - help uncover new opportunities and
nurture existing opportunities
• Engaging with customers via telephone and email to analyze their
needs
• Profiling the account and overcome prospect objections to generate
quality opportunities for the Account Executive team
• Collaborating with marketing research team and sales on lead
quality and conversion
• As this is the first point of contact with the customers, conduct
business dealings in a professional and proactive manner
• Become a trusted resource for internal and external contacts
• Infrequent travel to help with trade-shows and other marketing and
sales events
Desired skills and experience:
• Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent
• Clear communications skills / excellent phone etiquette
• Strong interpersonal skills (friendly, outgoing personality, not
afraid to talk to strangers!)
• Excellent time management skills
• Quick learner who is self motivated with a strong sense of urgency
• Able to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment and
adaptive to change
• Ability to understand and successfully promote technical offerings
and solution sets
• Ability to converse with and influence marketing organizations
• Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
